Congratulations to our 2026 Scholarship Recipients.
Riley Boyd
Riley Boyd is a graduate of Skyview High School and Cascadia Technical Academy’s Aviation Sciences and Technology program. She will be attending Central Washington University because of the structured aviation program, mentorship, and industry connections that will assist her in her goal of becoming a First Officer and then Captain of a major airline.
Emet Ordway
Emet Ordway is a graduate of Battle Ground High School and Cascadia Technical Academy: Fire Science Program. Emet will be attending El Camino College in California to work towards his associate degree in Fire Science and Emergency Technology. As part of that, he will earn his EMT certification and gain experience in emergency response. His goal is to continue his education and complete the requirements for becoming a paramedic.
Cristina Torres- Gomez
Cristina Torres- Gomez graduated from Heritage High School and Cascadia Tech Academy’s Culinary Program. She plans to attend the Culinary Institute of America to enhance her knowledge and hone her skills, aiming to become a creative and influential chef.
Sadie Walters
Sadie Walters is a graduate of Henrietta Lacks Health and Bioscience High School. She will be attending the University of Washington with the goal of being a physician-scientist, practicing both emergency medicine as a physician and working in immunology and infectious disease research to create accessible vaccines to lessen the disparities in healthcare all around the world.
